Privacy policy
Last updated 4 September 2026
This policy explains how Tradie Stack handles personal information. It is written to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as administered by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Who we are
Tradie Stack is operated by Anh Phan (ABN 83 210 959 227), a sole trader based in Sydney, New South Wales. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Tradie Stack” refer to that business. You can contact us at hello@tradiestack.au.
What we collect
We only collect personal information that we need to answer your enquiry and deliver our services.
- Contact details you give us — your name, email address and phone number when you email us, submit a request through this website, or book a call.
- Calculator inputs — the figures you enter into the leak calculator and the answers you give in the privacy risk check. These stay in your browser and are never transmitted to us unless you choose to send them by email using the buttons provided.
- Booking information — when you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, timezone and any notes you add.
- Technical information — our website host records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site secure and working.
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and send information you have asked for.
- To schedule and hold calls with you.
- To provide, set up and support our services if you become a client.
- To send you occasional email about Tradie Stack, only where you have given your details for that purpose. Every email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can reply STOP at any time.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
Automated decision-making
This website does not make automated decisions about you. The calculators produce estimates from figures you enter and give you the result directly. If you become a client, any automation we install in your business that affects your customers is documented and disclosed to you, and we help you disclose it in your own privacy policy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to the service providers we use to run the business, and only as far as needed:
- Scheduling — Calendly, to book and manage calls.
- Email — our email provider, to receive and reply to your messages.
- Website hosting — our hosting provider, to serve this website.
- Professional advisers and regulators — where we are required by law.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the providers above store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider handles your information consistently with the APPs, including through their standard data-processing terms.
How we protect it
We hold personal information in business-grade systems with access controls, and we limit who can see it to what the task requires. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected or as the law requires, then we delete or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@tradiestack.au and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge to make a request.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email hello@tradiestack.au with the detail and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or the law changes. The current version is always the one published at this address, with the date shown at the top.
